First and foremost, let me preface this by saying I'm NOT a politician. I try to live my life using common sense and logic, a policy that Capital Hill has obviously labeled as heresy. (If you doubt that, google Nancy Pelosi.) Like every other blogger on this site I am a right-wing extremist per our new DHS Secretary, Janet Napolitano. I'm in good company, so were Washington, Jeffereson, Adams, and the rest of our Founding Fathers. By the way I'd like to formally congratulate Janet on concreting herself in as the 2nd most ignorant female in D.C., I'm sure Nancy was getting lonely at the top.
I'm a firm believer in 2nd Amendment rights. The only regulations I believe are necessary for firearms is a background AND mental health check. Other than that, gun control means using both hands. As Thomas Jefferson said, " Those who beat their swords into plowshares will plow for those who don't." I do, however, have a new cause for the liberals. They've been chanting their "guns kill people" mantra for years. So in the spirit of blaming inanimate objects for operator malfunction propose "pencils misspell words", or "hammers break thumbs". I can spell well, and have good hand-eye coordination, leave my guns alone.
I am pro-life, as opposed to anti-life. Most people are and don't realize it or refuse to acknowledge it. How many times has a woman taken an at home pregnancy test, then ran in the room shouting "WE'RE GONNA HAVE A FETUS!!!?" If it is a child when you pee on an EPT and want to keep the child, then it's still a child when it's an "inconvenience". Life begins at conception. The great State of Texas realizes this. We have a law that if you kill a pregnant woman, it's a double homicide. Have I mentioned how glad I am I was born here?
Well, this is just the tip of the iceberg as far as my views go. Give me a couple hours to read the news, I'm sure I'll have more "therapeutic" venting to do. Until then, annoy a liberal, use facts and logic.
